Abacre Hotel Management System is a new generation of hotel/motel
management software for Windows. It is a complete solution, beginning
with reservations and check in/check out, and ending with billing and
tax reports. The user interface is carefully optimized for high speed
input and the prevention of common mistakes. It's designed for using
on multiple computers, and contains reliable and secure authorization
levels.

The program can be set up for any currencies, taxes, and gratuities.
Payments can be accepted by cash, credit cards, or checks.

For managers, there is a rich set of reports that shows a complete
picture of hotel operations and life cycles: sales by room, sales by
room type, sales orders in restaurants or retail, payment methods, and
automatic tax calculations.

By standardizing the entire hotel management process, the software
radically improves quality of guest handling and accounting.

It's easy to install and easy to use. Very affordable licensing allows
this software to be used in any environment from small family-owned
hotels and hotel to large chains.

alternative name of item will be shown on Order window after item's

to zero. This update will set minimal height of categories panel to 100 
pixels (on program's restart).
* Bug fixed: on Kitchen/Bar window the list of items could be empty if 
"Use Tables" option on Preferences window was unchecked.
* Bug fixed: "Is not a valid floating point value" error message could 
be shown on Take Payment and Media Totals window for currency formats 
with grouping separators like #,##0. 

AHMS v9.2: 
* Feature: added new option "Keep old order closing date on re-opening 
order" on menu Configuration - Preferences - Order. This option is 
useful when it's needed to re-open closed order, change some order's 
details (like changing wrong payment method) and then close the order. 
With this option the order's closing date will stay the same as before. 
* Improvement: when option "Allow selling items with zero on hand 
quantities" is turned off the verification for on hand quantities is 
only performed for items with checked "Is Stock Item" option. Thus the 
verification for zero quantity is not performed now for sales items ("Is 
Sale Item" option) which are not inventory items ("Is Stock Item" option 
is unchecked). 

AHMS v9.1:

Installation/Unistallation
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Create appropriate directory, for example, c:\ARPOS\, and unzip ARPOS.ZIP 
file. Then run setup.exe program and follow to standard installation 
instructions. 

To uninstall Abacre Hotel Management System, Run Add/Remove Programs from Control 
Panel and choose ARPOS.
